LaVonda Howard

LaVonda is a graduate of East Carolina University where she received a BFA in Dance and was a recipient of the Marie Wallace Dance Scholarship.  

She was a member of the "5-6-7-8 Musical Theatre Repertory Company.”  LaVonda also appeared in the musical "Gypsy" with Barbara Bosson of "Hill Street Blues."  She has danced professionally and traveled throughout North and South America on various cruise lines, including Royal Carribbean, Costa, Holland America, and Celebrity.  LaVonda has worked in several local productions with the Opera House Theatre Production Company and was a member of the cast of "Phantom of Illusion" in Fort Lauderdale, FL.  She also appeared at the Showboat Casino and the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, NJ.  Industrial credits include Daiseytek, Ross Stores, and IBM. 

LaVonda is a native of Wilmington, NC and has taught dance to recreational and competitive students for the past 13 years. She shares her love of dance with her two children, Brooke and Trevor.
