Mira Fox-Lamendola

Mira is the owner, operator and director of DanceWorks Dance Studio and FoxTroupe. 

She is a graduate of UNCG with a BFA in Dance.  Since college, Mira has acquired over 20 years of teaching and choreographic experience.

Mira traveled with the Hoctor Dance Caravan across the US and Canada for 10 years.  She has worked with and assisted such greats as Tommy Tune, Danny Hoctor, Barry Lather, and Henry LeTang.  She was the assistant choreographer for the half-time show of both the Pro Bowl and the Aloha Bowl in Hawaii, and appeared as a principle dancer in the Movie "Super Mario Brothers".

Mira has owned and operated DanceWorks Dance Studio for over 10 years, training a multitude of dancers who have entered the dance profession.  She has directed and choreographed several award-winning numbers receiving regional and national recognition for excellence in technique and artistry.

Mira lives in Wilmington with her husband, Ed Lamendola (the official "roadie" of Fox Troupe Dancers) and their two young sons.
